The Wall Street Journal: Controversial head of Minneapolis police union accelerates retirement plan
Bob Kroll, the outspoken head of the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis, said Monday he plans to retire at the end of the month, citing family reasons.
“ ‘Good riddance.’ ”
Kroll, who said in a letter announcing his retirement to union members that he had served on the city’s police force for 32 years, moved up initial plans to retire in May.
